2004 A19 Maxima 6-speed. Project Resurrection....

Yea, so I Picked up this 2004 Maxima the other week as a fixer upper. Biggest things I need to do are... new exhaust , y-pipe, engine, oem wheels, springs, struts, front bumper, passengers fender, repaint rear spoiler, clean interior, windshield, get original radio working, maybe new rear bumper, and who knows what else. Tonight I Just finished ripping out all the aftermarket crap, had a remote start alarm system with a bunch of other crap wired in. Had neon lights under the seats, dash and under front and rear bumper. Ripped all that crap out and threw it away. Also ripped off the tacky dash kit that was installed.

Plan for now is to fix it up, put it on the road and drive it. I love the color of this thing. A19 seems to be quite a rare color on the Maxima's, coupled with a 6-speed it makes it that much better. The black leather is in good shape, carpet just need cleaning and some OEM floormats installed. Here it is in its current state.

Earlier this week.....

it always amazes at the incompetency of the alarm installers. They tend to install the stuff with the smallest regard for professionalism. It always looks like a hack job like in the pics.

silver overlay dash kit over wood grain???? That is ugly.

good luck with the car.

you said it needs an engine?
