Dirty nails & busted knuckles only temporary lol

Hey all - Finally joined, no choice lol. The boyfriend has amazing tools, we have a heated garage - I am very resourceful & mechanically inclined - every search I've done to work on my 99 max for the past 6 weeks has led me here to The Org - you folks are amazing!

I have saved several thousands of dollars in labor doing all the work I've done myself (only had to ask the bf to help bust loose a few of the most stubborn rusty bolts along the way & to hillbilly-fab the radiator support lol) - plus I feel like I got to go to school for free with everything I've learned here - I am amazed and humbled at how much has to go RIGHT for a car to run lol - at this point I would only consider myself slightly above rookie mechanic status, but THANK YOU for that!

I have alot of pics & would like to tell my progress up til now thanks to good resources, patience, logic & confidence - I've been on here for the last 6 weeks as a "secret sponge" but just registered yesterday - I am wondering what the best forum to do this in would be? The work I've done would fit under several different Topics, so should I just start a Discussion in 4th Gen Forum? It's not just a "story" - I'm still trying to troubleshoot a rough idle issue so I want to explain everything I've done 1st but don't want to threadjack or bump an old thread either - please advise! Thanks!

Story's can go in the members rides section with pictures of your car, or new member intro thread.

As for questions about your car, keep that in your cars appropriate generation section.

For example, 95-99 is the 4th gen section..
