Hello everyone! Hope I posted this in the right place? Have searched forum to find solutions to my problem, and so far, no answers. Have '96 Nissan Maxima Auto trans w/3.0 motor. Transmission slowly (driving at 2000rpms for a mile) shifts into 2nd gear and stays there. Replaced VSS and was "told" that there are 2 sensors(an input and an output). The sensor I am having difficulty is the one that goes at the rear of transmission(wheel side)? Car has 220k miles and belongs to my daughter. Other than the TPS and the Shift Solenoids what else could be th problem? Upur help will be appreciated & again sorry if this is posted in wrong area.
