2004 maxima tail lights

hi i have a 2004 maxima.. out the blue my tail lights and license palte light just stopped working. i checked all fuses.. dont know what to do next. somebody told me replace the switch.. any help

This reply may be useless after a year later, but I had the same issue. There is one more fuse box hiding by your wiper fluid, the tail light fuse is a 15 amp fuse, and its in that box.
