Hey All, New Member Questions..
New Maxima owner, 1999 SE. Live in Washington DC, just moved here from Denver.
Which brings me to one of my questions.....uhhhh we didn't really have rust in Colorado, pretty dry there and the mag chloride used on roads in winter doesn't really affect frame. So this Maxima I just bought seems to have some bad rot where the radiator support connects to the lower crossmember and center support. See pic
Also, there is a piece missing from my air intake. Again see pic. What is this missing piece called? It apparently runs from intake in wheel well to air filter box much like my '89 Nissan D21.
Also, what is the rotted cross-member called? Either going to replace it, or weld a patch. Thanks for the help!
