Hello everyone, I am picking up a 2006 Maxima SE today from a private seller. I test drove the car 2 days ago and was blown away by the engine power. I never floored it, maybe 1/2 throttle at the most, and it was powerful at that. The owner has put new, super low profile tires, which seem to have loud road noise. They have less than 1000 miles on them, so I may list them on craigslist and get the size and type the maxima came with from the factory. I will be buffing out the paint and doing a through interior cleaning, as well as cleaning the engine. I like to get anything I buy looking good, at least at first, lol. Below are two photos. The one of the dirty maxima is the one I am picking up today. The photo of the clean car is what I hope my Maxima will look like when I clean her up.
