ice2k1 talked about fitting it onto a 2k2 headlights not long ago. will this be applicable for 2k and 2k1? I doubt it.....

The nice thing about it is that it's also adjustable from the dash check the video's on that site. Pretty nifty.

It wont, because of the camera style lights that the 2k2's have. the 2k and 2k1 dont have those circle style lights..

I had been thinking about doing this as well. But after seeing the Photoshop version I think I'll be leaving well enough alone.

Each one of those are separate focusing projector lenses. They aid in precise dissapation of the beam pattern.

In this picture it looks like the car is dazed or confused if you think of the headlights as eyes. I think I'll pass - but it was a COOL idea!!!!

Sorry, don't know what happened to the picture - but it's the one with the two Q45 lenses, or just one will kinda give the effect.

I don't quite know why you would do that. Makes more sense to replace just the low beam section?

You guys/gals have to note however, that i don't know the exact dimensions of the gattling gun HID's so it may be too big/too small/just right for the 2k2 Max's housing.

I realize that. I was just speaking from an aesthetic POV. I liked the way it looked with the Q45 lights in the high beam position best out of the 3 options.

god dammit, my idea's always somehow get on the forum. . .hehehe....just to let ya'll know, in order to get the q45 thingy, u have to buy the whole headlight unit, which is like 2g's per side. . .and u have to get Infiniti to order it for u. and there is a clearance prob. . the way that canon sits is very deep in the back of it. . .so u have to really move some stuff to fit it into the car. . .as for the lenses, we've measured it and it will fit into the regular lamps only on the 2k2, the high beams are kinda smaller and will not fit. . .etc etc...hopefully i can find a damn wrecked q45 sometime soon. . .

Right, the gatling gun (compound lamp) has a beam pattern for low beam >>

Using it for a highbeam would be a bad idea.

after looking at that web page of q45 pics....damn.

I sat in one at the NYC auto show last year, before it came out, and my friends had to drag me away from it. And half of the cool **** I couldn't use....I must say...that car is absolutely amazing.

Definately would not mind getting one of those some day.....I have to buy a house first..then the fancy car can come
