Installed Berk Intake (Sweet!) but now my sunroof doesn't work....???

Ok, I got my Berk intake today and installed it according to the directions they provide. I disconnected the battery just like they say to. Well, I got it installed just fine and I love it! Definitely a SOTP HP increase. Car pulls a lot harder above 3,000 RPM's now.

Now, for the crappy part. My sunroof no longer works. It just quit working. The sliding switch doesn't do anything. I can however open it with the little tilt switch. I can open it all the way with that switch (is this strange?). I never tried it before so I don't know if it used to do it or not. Why would this happen???

yea this happens when you disconnect the battery. You have to reset the sunroof by holding down the tilt for a couple seconds. It should work after that. If i'm wrong about the resetting try a search and you'll see many ppl had the same thing happen, but i'm pretty sure thats how to reset it.

Same thing happend to me....open it with the switch on the right that makes it open slowly, then close it using the same switch, once its closed press it again so that the roof tilts up and then have the roof close by hitting the same switch to close...after that try the slide switch and see if it works...mine did after i did that...

I think the roof goes haywire when u disconnect the battery.

Does anyone know why they make this sunroof reset feature? The same thing happened to me when I picked my car up from the dealer. I was fuming until I read the manual.

So it's in the manual??? Why the hell would they do this???

On the sound of the intake...it sounds awesome at WOT. At idle, just as quiet as before. I think this intake should put me ahead of my Mom's CL-S. It really seems to pull harder. It'll be really nice if the ECU learns as it goes and I pick up more hp than I already have.

It not just Nissan. I have a 2002 with the whole 1 touch system and if you turn it off (ignition) while its moving or unplug the battery it goes nuts. Knowing about the reset on this board helped me figure it out. Has to do with the electronics vs manual switches perhaps?

i got the berk on my 01 se, above 3000, it is NICE, deeper growl, where you usually hear the engine, you can hear that baby sucking up the air. But there is an audible whistle below 3g's, which is sometiems annoying if you have the windows down. Solution is to just drive fast all the time.

I hear people complaining about MAF going, I assume the car wont run, but what exactly happens when it goes bad, engine stop? Overheat?
thanks in advance for info
