I would like to know if you guys like the sound of Greddy EVO on their 2K2 model.

i have them on my 2k2. it's not bad at all i don't think it's to loud. and very easy install if you have the extra $$$ go get the random cat too

 

sounds exactly like cattman except a tad bit louder. If you ask me none is loud enough. I wanna attach on a y-pipe and see if that pleases me. the greddy drones on the highway tho. but after 3-4k rpms you can hardly hear it.

 

...and how was the install?

Did you do it all yourself, or bring it to a shop? I'm thinking about either a Stillen or Greddy cat-back, but I'd like to do it myslef. What kind of time was spent on this, and were there any problems?

I've heard that the hardest part was removing the stock muffler, and that the car had to be pretty high up for the install.

 

brought it to a local performance shop and they did complete install and removal for $60

 

I would pay $60 for it. I've read previous post about having to install an O2 sensor hole in it. Any idea if this is necessary, it's been a main reason I've been holding out.

 

almost positive that its unnecessay. They told me it was an easy and simple install because it was a replacement bolt on. Doesnt the O2 sensor deal with pre-cat?

 

no ndeed to drill a hole all o2 sensor are located in the precat part, you should have the car as high as you could to take the rear section off
