Fog Light & Turn Signal REWIRE??

Whats up all,

Just wondering if I could have a nissan dealer do the "fog light on with running lamp" rewire and "turn signal (so the side markers blink as well)" rewires. Its simple enough to do, but I just dont want to void my damn warrantee, so if i get them to do it, it shouldnt void anything - right? Anyone here done this with these or any other mods?? Are the dealers usually cool about stuff like this? thanks for the info!

They could theoretically do it for you, for a price. But unless it's part of their business to modify cars chances are it will still void the warranty.

As far as dealers being cool about it, that's something you'll have to find out for yourself at your particular dealership. Some are cool, others are not while a bunch of them are just outright baaaaad.

Well, just got back. As expected, the dealer made it more of a hassle than a learning experience. I asked the two questions, and instead of answers, i was asked questions such as "is this a lease car...", etc. I did however get a service department card to call and ask them, so the saga continues. I'll keep ya posted.

You may be able to approach one of the technitions and pay them on the side to do it (not a the dealer)

Which kinda defeats the purpose of him letting the dealer do it so as not to "void the warranty" now does it?
