My question is: When the hamster in the wheel connected to the turbine gets tired out, does the boost go down?

Dyno Shops should buy those to simulate the air flow when your max is straped to the roller. Then attach a tube to it and stick the other end into a freezer

He is full of it. Them plastic fins on that fan cant handle that kind of speed. Them fins dont even look like they are speed balanced. At that RPM, for sure they would fall off. Plus if they plastic, its gonna be in a sense "drag" limited to at least 1/4th that RPM.

OH YEAH?! Well I'm gonna make a supercharger out of a hairdryer. All I need is a 12 volt power inverter under the hood to plug it in. And, of course (duh!) I'll remove the heating elements so the air will be nice and cool.

I'll be driving down the road and EVERYONE will hear my Clairol Supercharger (now forever known as the CSC mod).

Or how about one of those 12-volt plastic pumps that you use to inflate rubber rafts & air mattresses and stuff? You can just plug it in to the cigarette lighter or hardware it to your battery. Even better you can run it off your fog lights so every time you want a boost you just turn on the fogs. Hmmmm...clever, aren't I?

This may sound weird, but I used to be in the T-bird scene and I've seen actual leaf blowers under the hood. Friend of mine had a 94 bird that was near death and worked at a shop and we dynoed it with and without and it really did punch that engine up almost 55 hp, until all sorts of sounds started coming from it in 4th gear. We shut it down, but it was damn fun while it lasted. Some serious good fun. I wonder if a real inline blower with speed tested metal blades would do any good. If anyone has a near dead Max, I'd love to see the results.
