Anyone else not happy with the foot pressure needed to maintain a steady speed? I find that if I try to maintain a steady speed on my '96 automatic, the car goes faster and faster with just the weight of my foot (size 13 shoes, so that may add to the problem.) I have to hold my foot up a bit to maintain a steady speed, which gets uncomfortable. I know, I know, use cruise. That's fine on open interstates, but not in heavy freeway traffic.

So has anyone installed a stiffer spring? If so, what kind?
