The maximum pressure, as it states on the tire, is 30lbs.
For best performance what is the recommended pressure?
I'm running Kuhmo 225/50/16

The recomended tire pressure for your car is located on a sticker in the lid of the arm rest between your front seats.

If you choose to run other pressures, run low at the track, and high at auto-x.

Yes that would the right answer if I had stock size tires.

What is considered low and high?

I'm not running stock size and I found that the recommended TP has the best traction/ride than any other TP's I would say low/high is + or - 3-4lbs 5 at most anymore and it would have a negative effect
