HAHAHA, just thought of the funniest thing!!!

Has anyone ever STALLED while on the race track? like when it hits the green light, just stall and be the joke of the whole crowd??? that would be so funny!! I have stalled a few times since getting converted and i think i'm going to let go of that clutch at around 3,000 rpm just so i don't stall cause that would be too embarrassing...

oh and so this thread isn't a waste and shut down, i have a question:

how do u remove the driver and passenger seats? i talked to someone on aim and they said there are two screws in front and two in back...i see two in front but i don't see two in the back...can anyone take a pic of the two in the back or give me an idea of what i should be looking for?

thanks

The two in the back are under plastic covers that pop off.

They are NOT hard to locate.

i did the same thing at a stop light. i went a little too far into the intersection, so i backed up. there was a car behind me at this point. when the light turned green, i accelerated and my car lurched backwards, and i thought i was gonna hit the car behind me. luckilly, i didnt, and i sped off into the sunset, crying to myself. i was lucky

I beat an 11 second 68 Malibu because he was at the line and blew something up as soon as he hit the gas.

And a Civic because he blew his Turbo on the line.

Both on the same day, one right after another.

As I left the track that day, the Civic was being put up on a flatbed tow truck.

The Malibu was repaired and spent the rest of the day smoking everybody, except for the 10.5 second Vette that was there.

Just goes to show that one of the good things about a classic muscle car is that they are easy to repair, where as Civics suck....

I have a video of hitting my brakes down the track. I did this when switching to second gear. I must of tapped the brake as I was hitting the clutch. I did use my turning signal to come off the track a few times as well. That's as worse as it gets. Stalling would be bad.
