I ordered 6 cases of Royal Purple 5W30 Motor Oil on 11/18. It still hasn't arrived. I finally got tired of waiting and sent an e-mail to Royal Purple asking them if they had run out of motor oil. They responded that they had PLENTY of motor oil in all grades. They said they'd contact Carparts.com and get back to me.

My guess is that Carparts.com is running on too thin a margin. They probably have to buy in bulk in order to survive. If they don't have enough orders to purchase at a bulk rate, they just keep accumulating orders until they do. Unfortunately, those who order earliest wait longest. Not my idea of how to make friends and influence people.

Guess I won't be doing any repeat business with those clowns.

never heard of royal purple ...

how does this compare 2 mobil 1? price?

Have you contacted Carparts.com?

Contacting the oil manufacturer doesn't do much unless the reseller is commited to ship the product out to you.

I ordered some bulbs and cleaners for my Max, and I got my full order in a reasonable amount of time. The 33% discount code I used made the transaction that much less painful though!

I just ordered my eibachs last week. They should be here by Friday, or Saturday.
We'll see if it's the right part but so far so good.
