actually its been a few weeks even months since some1 posted something about clearing out the orange peices in the 2k2+ headlights. the reason is because i dont think any1 is willin to open up the 2k2 headlights and try to clear it out becasue if they screw up the head lights cost approx $1400+ and thats quite a big price to pay to being a guineae pig for other people. if u can come threw with that mod for the headlights on the 2k2 that would be awesome but please be careful on experimenting becasue its not cheap to screw up on this 1. goodluck and later.

i got the stillen aero. im prolly gonna take it to the same shop you took it to. what was the name of the guy there? heh, eitherway, i figure since theyve done it once on your car they'll do mine even better.

and the hids, i havent bought them yet. i almost got a pair for 600+shipping but i think the guy sold them to someone else? maybe he sold them to you? it was a guy on the .org! dood, i got no do-it-yourself skills, maybe you and your cousin can help me out with my hids when i finally get them. i dont know though... i think i might wait til spring to get them and just go ahead and get the ypipe and more performance mods for now. when the air gets cooler... ima be fassssssssst. i hope.

yeah ask for Dan -- tell him phil w/ the white maxima sent you...after he gives you estimate tell him is there anyway he can do it cheaper if you pay cash (he usually will, but dont tell him I told you ).....yep that was me who bought the HID's from that org member

yeah I dont see a problem me & my cousin helping you hook up your HID when u get them....we would know how to do them by them no problem

p.s.-- I'm waiting for Nismo before I buy any more performance parts....I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they would make some $hit for us---

 

i think i have one of those lenses somewhere. I cleared mine out about a year ago.

 

YEah, i remember someone was supposed to give me the specs for the orange piece(DIameter, thickness, etc..)

You think a custom made pice would look good like the projector fog material?(e.g. AUDI xenon lens) You think thats even possible.

let me check out my friends audi tomorrow & get back to you on what i think....but I'm not sure what you mean 'projector fog material'???

 

for instance, look at the audi xenon lens, it has a opaque kinda look to it. its not clear, its not frosty. Or just go to up a beamer also. MB dont have it cept for the 2003s e class
