Took my 2K2 auto to dealer for front end jerking

When I accelerate from zero I get a jerking that appears to come from the front CV joint. You can put it in drive, hold the brake and tap the accelerator quickly to about 1/4-1/2 throttle and feel and hear this jerk. If I accelerate slowly it does not do this.

I took it to the dealer and he said it is normal. He brought up a 2K3 car and we tried it. At first I thought I felt a mild version of this jerk but then it did not do it. He says they improved the 2K3 cars design to help eliminate this.

Can anybody else feel this jerk?

I haven't tried holding the brake and listening, but I do have a jerk or hesitation from stop. I'm willing to bet the 2K3 you drove will get worse. I didn't notice the hesitation until about 3K miles or so. How many miles do you have?
