step/door light

any problems w/ placing 5W bulbs in the door/step lights? oem bulbs are 2.7W. are there any bulb or hyper white 2.7W bulbs to replace these? or are people placing 5W bulbs? thanks.

Worst case scenario

all four doors open u will draw 4 x 5W = 20W.
OEM would be 4 x 2.7W = 10.8W

difference of approx 10W

I don't know the voltage but assuming 12 v
that equals an extra 0.83 amps. if that doesn't put the fuse over the limit its ok. but an extra ampere is quite a lot, I don't know if the
engineers over desinged this much
