What color red 4 taillights?

I want to paint the clear "turn signal" section red, and I forget what color red was used.
Red, Bright Red, or Candy Apple Red??? All are Testors model paint.

To get rid of the white in the brake circle.
This way you'll have one large red circle and one small white circle.

So you want a red turn signal? That's not a bad idea. Post pics when you're done, unless someone else has any. thx

not sure if this is intended...

but would not any paint be opaque and thus render the turn signal non-functional?

In order to have this work, a transparent or translucent application should be used...

Painting over the light would render the light useless. Light wouldn't be able to pass through the paint. You need some kind of transparent/clear paint.

When you put one coat of Testors paint on, there is no way to make it opaque. Especially when you're back-lighting it with a bright turn signal. I'm painting over a clear lense, a friend of mine painted over an amber section of his taillight, and it still worked just fine. SOMEBODY ON THIS BOARD HAS DONE THIS!! I just can't remember who.

when i had my crx i painted the oranged red using remote control car lexan body spray paint. i believe the color was called candy apple red (or something) if i can recall it was translucent. spray that on in thin coats, and then add a clear coat for a glossy finish. if you get teh orange peel effect don't worry about it, spray even more coats of the clear coat on, get some very very fine grade sand paper for polisihing, and wet sand it..
