Carbon fiber floor mat plates?

I just received my new SE-L floor mats from CBr2, and they are awesome. But they are starting to get dirty where the pedals are. I want to protect my floor mats, but don't want to put some cheesy see through plastic. I want to know if it would be a good idea to put a carbon fiber plate.
Something similar to this:

What do you guys think? How much would it cost to make this in CF?

That looks alot better. But I would like it in carbon Fiber.

try it and see....what about sratches.....?

I sprayed mine down w/stain protector like you put on household carpet and it works good and I have the frost grey mats just clean them....
