Hey guys, I tried searching and couldn't quite find what I was looking for...

I have the navigation system, and I want to install a new audio system.. subs, amps, etc. Can this be done since the navi talks over the stereo? or would I have to keep the original bose headunit and work off of that?

Also with a new h.u., would the stereo controls on the steering wheel still work?

I'm just looking to add a little low end sound, that's all...

I could never find a good answer to this question either, but I can tell you that you can get your stock steering wheel controls to work with an aftermarket stereo, there is an adapter you can buy from crutchfield that does this very thing.
