Yeah, so umm why don't you post pictures?? It's not that hard, you wonder why people give you a hard time about your phantom list of mods. YOu probably won't respond to this though, cause the only response you could give is to post pictures, which we all know won't happen.

Yeah, seriously why would you come on a site and claim you've done all this **** and not show anyone. Usually people mod out their cars cause both they like it, and they want it to be different and flashy, so others see it and it stands out. Nobody cares about your car and mods if they can't see what they are.

You'd have to be a flaming retard to paint your Maxima flaming orange. I've seen that color scheme on a 90 Accord, since they share almost the same boxy type of car, I think the look sucks.

Why not a beautiful Sapphire Blue

As far as im concerned he did not paint his car orange, its all b/s. ONce I see pictures that do not appear to be photoshopped then I may consider beliving him, until then I don't. Doesn't surprise me that he does not respond either, I wish he would just give us one good reason why he doesn't post pictures, my guess is because his car is completly stock, ah well.

Yes, my stock white is nice too. It's been almost 14 years, and the paint looks new! Of course, that's because of care, wax, and polish from yours truly.

I'm just saying that if he wants to get a custom paint job, Sapphire Blue will look pretty nice custom wise. Everything else from flaming orange, to Canary Yellow, or Cherry Red, I believe will make the car look retarded.

You can see those ugly @ss paintjobs on Civics and Accords all tricked out at the shows, I feel like vomiting each time I see them and the price they paid to have it painted that way.

Yeah my paint is the same way. I wish alot of other people took care of theri 87-88 maximas like we did. I love it when I look at my car because mine is the only one here that the owner (me) takes care of it really well. All the Second Gens here are all paint faded dirty all the time, running bad. Everytime I look at my car I appreciate it so much more. Its like a new modern car but its 14 yrs old. And by the way it looks and drives you cant even tell. I get offers from people driving around to buy my car off me at stop lights, gas stations. When people start doing that thats like a pat on the back for the time and effort to keep these cars in the condition they are in.. But I let them know this is my baby, cant let it go. I kinda wish we all lived int eh same place we couldve started a second gen Maxima car club.

I know what your saying man, I had a guy working at a gas station flat out say he wanted to buy it off me. And when i was having problems once at another gas station the guy was like, "This car is having problems?? It looks new" Does make you feel good about your car (although he was looking at the side of my car with no dent )

It's super rare to find someone to take care of their silver paint. That's excellent that you guys kept it up...should go very well as metallic paint is very sought after.

For some reason, Nissan did a cr*phola job on the paint jobs on all the newer models. Especially the 3rd gens.

Really?? thats weird, actually now that I think about it almost all the 3rd generations I think about are very very dull, accept the GlE's that I see, did they use a different kind of paint or finish on those ones?

Yeah thats another reason I like the 2nd gens. It seems Nissan went down on quality when they made the 3rd gens. I hear problems with their cars all the time. My car isnt silver though its Top- Nissan Bronze lower part White. Its two tone Style the only one in my town with that two tone. I think its a rare two tone Anyway.

Yeah, the paint on the 2nd gens is great. I don't really baby my car, I'm lucky if I wash it twice a month and I only wax and polish it twice a year, but it's held up really well considering I drive it everyday, it's parked outside instead of a garage, and it has to deal with Pennsylvania's winters. The paint hasn't faded one bit. I just have a bit of rust around the rear wheel wells and inside the doors, but it's only noticable up close. Also, the paint on the bumpers has some cracks in it from the cold winters and hot summers. Nevertheless, it's in better shape than some cars made in the mid 90's. Hell, I saw a 4th gen that was in worse shape than my good old 2nd gen.
