Has anyone ever heard of Classicsofttrim.com?

I'm planning to order a two-tone leather interior for my bmw from http://www.classicsofttrim.com/, since leatherseats.com don't have anything for me. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with their products and quality.

Yeah, there's one in Houston, costs about $1K for a four seat sports car. I know two guys who have had their leather installed by Classic.
Leather is supposedly good quality, which means it's hard at first, but will become supple with use (like a good pair of cowboy boots).

Sounds good. Yeah they quoted me $1500 including installation and $925 without. I already have experience installing leather seats, so I'll save myself $600.

I've been considering getting leather from Classic too, but I'd have to get it installed and I can't afford $1500 for leather. It's too hot in Houston anyways. Good luck.

Google search for "classicsofttrim.com quality"
http://www.google.com/search?q=class...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Google search for "classicsofttrim.com BMW"
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...fttrim.com+BMW

What I learned briefly looking through the links:

classicsofttrim.com = Katzkin

Katzkin has a good reputation with the 3rd generation Maxima guys. It's quality stuff AFAIK.

Search results for "Katzkin" here on the dot orgy to get some impressions on quality:

Useful posts from that search:

Leatherseats.com comments on their quality of leater versus Katzkin / classicsofttrim.com:

Another allusion to classicsofttrim and their use by dealers and who manufactures Katzkin / classicsofttrim covers:

Just call me the research master.

Wow Bill, you exceeded my expectations. Lots of useful info, thanks man. I guess after being a dot orgy member for 2 years I still haven't learned how to use the search function j/k I use it a lot.

Randy, why would I trade a brand new 330ci for a used 540i? Don't tell me because of 6-spd tranny

blubyu2k2, I like that embroidery on your headrests, looks very cool.

Seriously, I just dug around a little with search and found out the Katzkin connection and since it was not ever mentioned on the dot orgy before, I thought I would elaborate some more on the connection through links and stuff.

Makes it easier the next time around when someone asks.

Agree, I thought this was a relatively new topic so I asked without doing a lot of research.
I'll definitely post my feedback when everything is all set.

Cool.

To be consistent, I must inform you that if you ask this again, I will have to ban you so that I can fulfill my power hungry tendencies and so our former members will have something to discuss.
