Full Throttle Fuel Cut-Out

Recently I had the pedal of my auto 2002 Maxima floored and when it was about to shift into second gear the car cut the throttle. I had to pull over to the side of the road and restart the car. Both the check auto and service engine lights were on. It restarted and the throttle came back on. Now only the check engine light is on. Has any one else had this problem?

There is a recall on that problem. My freind is an Infiniti tech. The problem is that when u floor it the pedal goes past the pedal stop. The pedal goes out of range for the computer and puts your check engine and tranny lights on. This is true for the I35's I would imagine that its the same for the max's. Good luck IM me if u have any more questions
