I was wondering what is a good deal on purchasing a 2002 or 2003 Nissan Maxima SE w/ a 6speed? I am located in Northern Virginia; best I can do is $1300 under invoice for a 2002 and $700 under invoice for a 2003. Please provide feedback

Both numbers sound good to me. If you can get anything under invoice on an 03' thats great. Are these loaded?

 

They should be giving you a better price on the 02'. If the difference is only $600 I would go with the 03', because the moment to drive off the lot the 02' is one year old and just lost $4k in value.

 

Yeah both numbers are for loaded package. If I decide to go with a base package could I get a better deal. Thanks for the insight.

 

I wouldn't go with anything other than loaded, except the Nav & Meridian those are up to you. Otherwise get the Alty.

According to KBB.com list on a loaded 03' 6spd. W/HLSD is $27k. And a loaded 02' 3.5 Alty is $25.8k. No Cold/Meridian or Nav in these.
$26k on an 03 Max sounds good to me, what does anyone else think.

 

Well, i paid 25.8K for my 02 LOADED SE every opt but nav. this was a great deal IMo, a few hundred under invoice....

 

I see your from Long Island also. Which dealership did you get your max at?

 

Westbury Nissan. I looked around A LOT and they had a deal that if you put down 5K, they would take 5K off the sticker. I think i paid invoice or a little under.

I got one of the last 2k02s about a month ago, but they were doing a 4K down 4K match a week or so ago.
