Still no luck. Does anyone know if the orange piece can be pushed out from the back?

I had just part of the seal broken to get into the headlight assembly. I figured why not break just one side open just enought to get the orange piece out after i pop it out. I got that far until i had to pop out the damn orange piece. That thing will not move, i was trying to push it from the inside out with many different tools. It still won't come out. How hard is it to pop out the piece, I was afraid of breaking something. So I guess i will have to try again later. Anyone else have this problem?

instead of popping out towards the clear side of the headlight, it goes towards the back side of the headlight.. i've cleared out two sets of 2k2's and now it's become a very easy job for me.. just gotta make sure u heat up the adhesive enough for it to be workable.. if it's too hard to pull out, then heat it up some more.. no extreme force is required for this task, only patients.

Yup, thats exactly how to pop out the orange peice. Once you get behind the orange lense all you need is a pair of pliers and it just pops out.
