underdrive pulley worth the cost??

underdrive pulley worth the cost??

I'm looking for some extra hp, is an unothodox pulley worth the power gain?

SprintMax says no but everyone else without a big system says yes. Do what you feel is right search

I have it. I think it just makes everything seem more effortless, but doesn't seem to add much power because it's distributed evenly throughout the power band. It's definitely worthwhile if you've done all the "bang for the buck" mods already and want to eek out a little more speed. I wouldn't say it's the best mod in the world, though.

There are a few UDP haters out there but if you look at the dynos though you'll notice an alarming trend, most of the cars with the highest dynos (NA) have UDPs . Coincidence? I doubt it.

am I going to be able to install it myself?? I dont have a car lift, so access to underneath is very limited for me. plus i dont want to screw anything up either, and it will need new belts too right?

id do it just to lose the weight off the crank. theyre only SLIGHTLY underdriven, so you shouldnt have a problem there.
