Where to change timing belts

i have a 93' maxima gxe sohc. it is 57k miles right now, and i am planning to change the timing belt and water pump. do u guys think that i should have it change by dealer or just buy the parts and take it to other mechanics to have it install? what else should i change while changing the timing belts?
