May have found my new wheels...Alessio Sanremo Brimetal in 18x8

I have been searching for a gunmetal 18x8 wheel for a while now. Well, I stumbled upon these. Tell me what you think! The problem is I don't know how much they cost, the bolt pattern, or how much they weigh. They are 5-lug so that's a start. I have searched the net and emailed Alessio and nothing yet.

Go here for a bigger pic. Select either the Flash or regular version and then select the Sanremo Brimetal's in the wheel selection box.

$187 a piece for the non-Brimetal ones, I don't see why those would be more.

You have done well ho, now get to the back of the car and SHUT UP.

Thanks for the links...they are for FWD cars, so the offset/pattern should be in my favor. Hopefully the brimetal will be the same price..now how do you think they look?

I think we need MaximaRider's sig in here...

Like I said - . I'm not a fan of the curved spokes but given the to-the-rim design I'm sure they will look large. But you should find out weight first, unless you're just in it for the look. BTW I check wheelweights.net they don't have any Alessio wheels.

I don't think so at all. If the sanremo's had a polished lip they'd be perfect IMO. I like the color and lip of the turbo's alot though, but the design is not my type.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to find an 18x8 (or wider) dark or black rim with a polished lip for a decent price that doesn't weigh a ton.

Why not just go 19" and fill up that gap? It would look much better. Plus 18" with a lip is not going to look very big.

-19's cost too much
-19's slow you down BIG time
-Tires for 19's cost too much
-Tires for 19's wear too fast

IMHO 19's would be overkill. I am 50/50 show/go..these sanremo's would look alot bigger then my current rims, would blend well (gunmetal), and wouldn't kill my performance...if they arent too heavy..I am waiting on that

And about the wheel gap...I barely have any. About a 1 1/2 finger gap at MOST. Most people w/b&g's w/5spd have sagging, but mine are perfectly balanced, maybe a little lower in the front. I guess I am lucky!

Cyrus, if you wanna photochop those sanremo brimetals on any of my pics, Here's the link to my site: http://members9.clubphoto.com/craig5...ner-de8c.phtml

Under that same principle I could say 18"s cost too much.

So do 18". Especially from the 15" size we come from.

Tires cost a lot for 18"s.

The way you drive that won't matter. 18"s will wear fast too.

But 19"s look great. The best size for a 4th Gen no doubt. You can be go with 19"s. I can show you plenty of fast cars with 19"s. The San Remos will look bigger I agree. Especially since there is no lip. As for weight we just don't know yet. Sorry maybe I'm biased - I still have that 15" performance 17" comparmise 19" looks thing in my head.

Here they are photoshopped on my car courtesy of GTR_Rider:

I think they look really good. But I think his photoshop makes them look like 19's or 20's, making them look better, but I think 18's will look almost that big! I think they look great and so does he.

Cyrus, I sent you a PM.

I like the look of Luke's pic because I like the look of 19"s. But that doesn't help you much so here you go...

well...i think they'll be a little bigger then that! They will most likely look exactly like ereet's 18's which look nice and big.

They will look like ereet's, but I think you're expecting too much. Remember our rear fenders are especially big... go look at pics of ereet's rear and you may not see what you want...

I'll take some looks at ereet's ride and try to see if your right...

Maxed out, your rims don't look small, they just don't look especially big like 19's or 20's.

hey Craig...about Alessios, heres some 411 i have...my Alessio Turbo 18s w/ falken 451 tires weigh 53lbs each...i love the way they look but when i was looking around, i ran into a dealer and he was telln me how Alessio uses cheaper metal than most companies use on the inside of the rim; so if you were to get into an accident that would seem as if the rim(s) is/are repairable, they prolly wont be cuz of the type of metal used.....i still took em cuz they fit my $$ range and after searching for sooo long finally found what i wanted and wasnt about to change......

That is heavy! My caffeines weigh 39-42lbs. w/tires...geez Alessio's are soo heavy but they look soo damn good! Is their any gunmetal rim that resembles the sanremo's that aren't soo extremely heavy?
