Need your help with possible thief!
Moderators, please let this stay up for a while, until everyone has a chance to read, trying to find Mr. guest911 Thank you.
As most of you probably know, last week my car was broken into, with a resulting $1400 in damage, and $2000 in stolen property. Recently, a new forum member, guest911, posted stuff for sale that 95% matched what I had stolen. He made one reply to the post, and then disapeared. I think it's a prank, though it's not funny in the least. My question to all of you is, Did anyone recieve an email back from him? His email is supposedly supermaxima911@hotmail.com I won't disclose any other info I have right now, as all of it has already been forwarded to the local authorities. However, if it turns out to be real and I can find him first...
If anyone got an email, please let me know ASAP. Thanks for your help, and thanks to all those who have helped out so far, including the moderators.

You may have already done this but...
Why not ask one of the moderators to check out the ip address he registered his nick with and what ip address he posted with. Then call the authorities or his isp and ask them for his address. maybe its not that easy though these days

just remember that the proper authorities are the right people to handle this, not some sort of revenge.
i think you've shown good judgement by doing this in an organized way and be getting in touch with authorities.
im sick of reading posts on the org about what people do to other people if they caught em touching their car

What happened over there?
What happened over there?
Some guy had his RX7 stolen with lots of mods on it.
Then some guy popped up on the RX7 forums selling exactly what the other guy had on his stolen car.
That guy who was selling the stuff made idiotic mistakes of letting people know where he is and posting pics of the stuff with the owner of the car seeing the merchandise and recognizing it. The owner of the stolen car found out that the guy selling **** is actually sort of his friend and a long time member of the board. He got a camera and went to his house in the woods and what do you know, he finds his car under a cover

that guy was more of an idiot for trying to sell the stolen stuff right back on the forums rather than being an idiot for stealing the car from a friend in the 1st place..
