Do you think this is a fair price for a 97 Infiniti I30-5spd
I found a 97 I30 5spd {woo hoo!!} for $18900 with 31,000 miles{low miles huh} and its white {my favorite color}.I was thinking of offering $17000 for it.So what do you think $18.9K too much and $17K a good deal? Thanks for your help, and thanks for giving me hope earlier since now I am back on my mission of finding a 5spd I30 haha.

those cars are pretty rare, but i think u can take them down on price a little more, or even if u over pay a little, u should be happy, they only made about 500 5 speeds every year

What a waste... you put so much time into your maxima.. to trade it in for that year i30 I think would be throwing your money away.. if your going to get a new i30 or maxima, you might as well by the newer body style..(sorry they dont offer a 5-speed infiniti.
No you got it all wrong,
The beauty of this is that I will be able to swap everything from my Max into the I30 except for the body kit and ECU.About getting a new one hmmm if I had another $12K lying around I would consider it.

What's the reason of getting an I30 if you have a Max already? Maybe if you had an auto and wanted a manual, ok. Any reasons? high mileage on your car?

You can pick up a 2k max with 25-30k leather 5-speed etc. for 20 thousand dollars... instead of paying 3k less for the old body style of a car with comparable miles and an almost diminished warranty i would get the car with a couple years left on the warranty and the new body style..
For 1 I fell in love with I30Cefiros car,
2 I have 92K miles and want a newer low mileage car,
3 I do not really care for the new body style max,
4 I can put all my parts in the Infiniti no problem and will not lose all the money I invested in my Max,and about the warranty I am also looking at a 98 with 39K which is certified to 100K miles and that is one hell of a warranty. And another reasen is increased safety of a newer car as specialy if I get a 98 which I am begining to lean to which is equipped with side air bags.About the 97 I metioned above is actualy a auto they just false advertised {dumb asses}.But I found a Black 98 5spd but they want 20K for it so if I can get them down to $17ish I will buy it but I am waiting until wednesday because I know a wholesale dealer who is going to be picking up like 15 infiniti/nissans so I'll see if he finds a 5spd one for me {keep your fingers crossed}.Peace

don't let them know you want a 5 speed
Make them think you don't like the 5 speed and you may be able to negotiate down a bit. Most I-30 buyers don't want a 5 speed so the dealer (if that's who it is) is probably ready to unload the car.
Just a thought.
