It's almost better to just get that first one out of the way. It's bound to happen sooner of later.
My fist one was at a toll plaza while looking for change.

i think he is reffering to that he is ****ed off because he just bought new 19" rims, and they cost him alot of money, and he hit a curb so now there is dammage... that didn't occur to you?

Sorry man, it sucks to curb nice looking rims. I've had mine for almost 4 years, and somehow I kept them flawless for the first 3. I have the 18" TSW VX-1s that stick out pretty far from the rim. But recently I've managed to scratch up like every one. Eh... I was getting bored of these anyways. Anyone know of some light 18" rims that are not too expensive? Those TSWs are really heavy, I need to get some lighter wheels.

Well, next time some tires with wheel rib protectors might be a good investment if you don't already have them. Won't guard against all cases but better than nothing. My S-O3's have held up against some curb abuse.

Too many curbs at fast food joints and shopping malls.

man i have that tire protector flap, it help a little bit when i smacked my back rim against the curve at my school, and i was being careful!! WAS flawfless for 8 weeks. i drove my car for a half in hour (i only live 5 min away from my school) becasue i didnt want to go outside and look at the damage. 1 inch scratch not really that noticable... still kick myself in the a$$ everytime i clean my rims tho
