I'm looking to buy a 98 Maxima 5sp, hopefully with leather and the Bose system and no more than 50,000 miles on it. That's all I really care about. This is my first time to this site, and I find it very informative. However, the prices that I see on this site seem to be less than what dealers are asking here in Cincinnati. What's a good figure for which to shoot?

Also, what significant differences exist between '97-99' SE's? They seem to look the same to me, but then again, I'm a novice in the Maxima world. Thanks for your help?

 

Look under KBB.com and NADA.com for average trade in and
retail values in your area. Not sure what a 98 would go for
in Ohio. Maybe around $15-$17K
