My sister had a 240 SE with the Yellow foglights and it looked sweet. Is it legal for me to change my max's fogs to those yellow? I would like to and could anyone who has done this please advise.
Thanks
Jason

go right ahead and change them, they are legal and as long as u don't aim them up in the air like the post b4 said they are legal.

I noticed that you have them on your car from your pic. My question is related to changing the factory light color by drastic measures such as going from white to yellow. I like the looks of the yellow and would like to change mine to that without becoming illegal. Thanks for your input perlmax.

unless your talking about the headlights they're legal

you can have yellow fog lights just as long as your not blinding anyone. your headlights could be yellow but to a limit. you can't see it to well in my sig pic, but my fogs is a very bright dark yellow and i havn't had any legal problems. in fact i got stopped one time for my neons and the cop told me to turn on all the lights in front of the car, i turned on the fogs and he didn't say a thing about it. but he told me to change my blue turn signals

Yellow bulbs >>

Are not illegal anywhere. In fact, Phillips now sells a bulb in all types called the All-Weather. They put out yellow light for those who live in foggy areas.

See http://www.autooptiks.com

Yellow light in better than white or blue in imclement weather conditions. So, to answer your question, yes, it is perfectly legal to have yellow bulbs in your foglamps. I have been running the Hella Yellowstar H3 for a month now...and I love them.

had to repost it when I saw it, since Jason gave me a hard time about my yellow fogs when I first did them

Memories.. My friend ran raybring fog/driving lights in his 240sx> Removed stock pop-up light housings..he accidently got the blue/green combo instead of yellow. It was basically a green tint, never got pulled over for it for 1year.

If i was that cop, I would of told you to rip those neons off the car and not justturn them offf.

but yellow fogs are legal, lots of cars come with them stock, Is300 , older TL has inner yellow lights in the headlight.. they are legal..

Wow, never thought I would see a thread that made Jason look like such a newbie.
Thanks for the good laugh Josh.

White and yellow are perfectly legal according to NHTSA regs. I've got Nokya Hyper Yellow 9004's and Catz MSX Gold Iridium fog lights.
