It doesn't seem to be bolted down or anything, it could knock around and do more damage...
how do you keep it in place?

I

I found a website for installing the STILLEN intake, which was claimed to "be axactly the same thing as the Jim wolf, claimed as the same as K&N", which now that I actually need to be installing it, it seems stillen comes with a brace for the intake, which my K&N didn't. Sales guy told me the only difference was the stillen had a longer adapter!
Is it supposed to come with a "non wiggle" thing?

no...just go buy a pice of metal w/ hole in it...not sure what they are called...find one w/ holes big enough for the bolts in the adapter to fit through. And bend it in a way that will support the filter off the frame....drill a hole in the engine bay to attach the other end of the metal piece....and no more shaking. I need to do this, but just havn't yet.

hope this makes sense.....

I used those racheting tiewraps, and that thing dosent move a inch but I have a filter from a 5.4 V8 Expedition. So I had to move my battery and all engine components that are infront of the filter up about 3-4" in order for it not to hit the hood or the sidewall.
