I found a pair in the area and am trying to make sure the swap is legal. I need to find out if they are DOT approved.

Yellow fog lights are legal everywhere I know.

Jus to clear things up, the Department of Transportation(DOT) doesn't approve automotive products, they jus set up guidelines. So as long as products stay within the guidelines they are legal. Things should read DOT compliant. and the bulbs u speak of are legal or DOT compliant
