hew Head Unit.... wtf do i do with bose

hew Head Unit.... wtf do i do with bose

1990 SE w/bose
Hey, i got a new head unit, what do i need to install it.. should i just go to Curcit City and get their Bose HU addapter?

- does any one have a wiring diagram for my head unit

what kind of head unit did you get? I think you are better off getting a harness instead of the Bose adapter. I think the adapter is like $50-70 dollars (dont remember cause its been like 2 yrs) the harness is like $10 - $15 (got mine at Bestbuy but pretty sure Circuit City has it too). the harness is plug and play, just have to splice the right wires together. The stock bose amp gave me a lot of problems so I got new speakers and rewired them to my head unit. The sound quality was good enough for me so I didnt amp my speakers.
The other problem is had was with the power antennas(wouldn't come down when radio is off, I have to turn the car off for it to come down) , I just made a manual switch for it.

crutchfield

Crutchfield is awesome, if you order anything from them at all you can usually get them to send you the harness+adapter for free :-D try that first if you don't mind waiting a few days for it to ship from an online place.
