I Finally found one and bought it to day it is black with tan leather {perforatted seats}WITH 39k miles with a cargo net and bose CD changer and all the other goodies, the dealer had it advertised for $21,999 and I talked him down to $18,500 which I think is a pretty good deal since it is certified to a 100K and has brand new tires and is mint {no scratches or anything}+ It would be nearly impossible to find another 5spd like this,I a put a deposit and filled all the papers out and am going to pick it up Thursday I can't wait!! this car has no idea what is coming to it haha.I will post pics of it Thursday before I get my hands on it {mode it like a maniac}.I think I am going to have to change my name now I was thinking Einf98 but that sounds stuppid so it will be Emax98 hows that sound?PS. the car is so quiet I almost don't want to touch it haha.Later

Congrats! Sounds like a great deal, I just got done helping my brother buy a car and I would have jumped on a deal like that. That car just became the envy of all its Infiniti friends =). BTW, are you going to sell the HIDs out of your max or transfer them?

Thanks guys,

Yeah I guess I did get a good deal I guess reading all the info on Edmunds on how to haggle with Sales Man paid off haha,it was not easy getting him down to that price he was begining to get very adgetated so I shook his hand and made the deal after a hour and a half of talking/haggaling {it's tiresome}.About the HID's I am going to be transfering them and everything else except the head lights {all ready sold} and body kit and UPRD ECU {deal pending}.Later

Sweet emax95! I also found one, a 98 I30t 5 speed-Silver w/black leather. price is 22k. I really love it, it looks sweet, but I cant afford a new car just yet...plus I want to wait to see what the new Max is like or even the new Z

You got a pretty good deal on the I30T plus I didn't even know they made a 5 speed in 98.

How much slower is it than your 96? I test drove a 97 (I think I30T) when I was looking for a Max or I30. It felt quite bit slower and heavier than the Max I ended up buying. It felt really weak from idle to 4500 rpms, and then it started accelerating goo. What do the the I30s weigh? I've "heard" they weigh about 150 lbs more than the Max SE without leaher due to more sound deadening material, heated seats, heavier wheels, climate control, etc.

Thanks again guys,

The car did feel a bit slower though I did not really romp on it yet {dealer breathing down my neck},It felt pretty much like my Max use too before I started fiddling aroung with it.MT tested a 96 I30T 5spd and it did 0-60 in 7.0 and the 1/4=15.5/91.2mph whitch is not bad.I am not going to SC it any time soon since I am pretty brock right now and I think I am going to enjoy my Infiniti warranty which is quite nice I here.

For MaximaRider who asked me about my body kit,I allready have a possible buyer but email me anyways if you are interested incase he falls through,I am asking $500 for the whole kit,The lights are just my 97 lights I put in my 95 but I allready sold them.

Congratulations, it's a great and rare car! It took me forever to find my 96 I30t 5sp, but it was worth the wait.
