So i finnaly found the exact color match of carpet for my car. Its called "Heather" for those of you who care. Anyway after about a few hours or measuring, taping, glueing, screwing, and cursing its finnaly done. Tell me what u think

Installed JL Audio stealth-box, alpine v12 amp, and created new floor panel.

those wires will go away once i get a new head unit...few weeks.

Looks very nice Dan! One of my buddies over here got a StealthBox installed in his Max, and man that thing hits hard! I think he went back to the shop the next week and dynomatted his whole trunk. You might want to look into that.

Where did you buy the carpet from? I got some from JC whitney and the quality isn't all that great. Is there a better source to get these carpet?

 

i got the carpet from a local wholesaler. It was like $4-5 a yard or soemthing. The color is HEATHER for ur reference. If you want some i can get it, you have to just pay for it and shipping.

 

Whats a stealthbox? Where could I get one? Pics? Im looking into alternate enclosures for my subs.

I had 2 12's in a box... with a 1000 watt amp.. it was nice.. but didn't style right.. too many rattling noise.. so i sold it.. now lookin for a new style that sounds nice...

i have the stock head unit, no bose. The sub is a stealthbox so its only 1 10w6 but trust me, it pounds pretty good with the stock head unit. I expect to be even better when i get the new head unit. Everything else is stock.

how much was the stealthbox and where did you actaully buy it? I know JL Audio makes it but I emailed them 3 days ago for some info and they are slackers.

 

Any JL audio supplier can get them for you. They are expensive though. Just check around the local car audio places and you'll find one.

 

They are like $400ish brand new, but i got mine used for $280.

Side note....The guy i bought it from lost all the other parts that came with it. I called JL Audio North America and they sent me the rest of the parts FREE! I didnt even have to pay shipping. Boy was i happy that day. So what im trying to say is if u can find one used and it doesnt have all the parts dont worry u can get it from JL.
