Artic Pearl White owner w/kit or lip - Question

How much did it cost to paint your body kit or just the lip.

Should it be more than the other colors?

it's a three-stage paint so i'd assume it will cost more than other colors...but if you think it's worth it, then who cares about money.

I got my paint from towerpaint.com. I wish it had the flex agent, but it's not cracking, chipping, or anything like that. I bought two 16 oz spray cans, used about half of it.

It shouldn't cost more than other colors. If the shop tells you otherwise, they're BS-ing. If anything, superblack is the hardest paint to match. In any case, $100 is fair for painting the front lip.

Not so. It will cost more due to the 3 stage paint. White base, pearl, clear coat. More time and more material.

It's a three stage but it goes like this, base, color (not just pearl) and then clear.

But before that they need to prep it good, fiberglass or urethane, use a good primer and recommended flex agent.

And if they use the wrong base, then it will not match and also watch out for some guys who might use a cheap clear and later on peel or crack on you.

I have been quoted between $350-$500 to paint the whole kit. Any of you guys want to throw up some number so I know what's fair?>

You didn't mention the pearl.
