It's a three stage but it goes like this, base, color (not just pearl) and then clear.
But before that they need to prep it good,fiberglass or urethane, use a good primer and recommended flex agent.
And if they use the wrong base, then it will not match and also watch out for some guys who might use a cheap clear and later on peel or crack on you.
