I am automatically skeptical of figures posted by the manufacturer of the product advertised.

Post the vid again and tell us you did it yourself, then I will automatically believe every word you say about it.

Most people are skeptical but I was standing next to my car when it was done and I have documentation on all 11 runs that they did. You would be even more skeptical if they posted the cold runs where I was getting 25-32 hp.
The results that are posted are true and correct and they are hot runs. If you want the complete results, pm me w/ a fax # .

NISSAN MAXIMA 1994? Isn't that a 4th Gen being tested? Oh well. Anyways the Injen sounds good. I just understand how to read Dyno Charts.

I don't believe it because its still more restrictive than just having the straight midpipe (but that's just my opinion).

Yeah I don't know if it is more effective than FrankenCar intake, which I love.

I am planning to make custom pipe that will be attached to the front air scoop and direct more cold air towards the air filter.

Except being shiny and stuff I don't think Injen adds any more power than FrankenCar intake. Maybe FrankenCar intake adds even more at highend than Injen, who knows.
I know that I love it.

I second that and want to say as it is getting colder out here in MN, the intake really kicks in with the cold air especially at like 60-62

FrankenCar is where its at!

I'm not understanding! the results are there, What you chose to make of them is up to you! I think there are too many trash talkers on this post. I'm in So. Cal and willing to run anyone willing to meet to shut some f!@#$ing mouths.

thanks for posting this, 420. Actually, I didn't look at the dyno's before I made that statement. The only complaint I have is that some of these are hard to read.
keep the results coming

You get all bent outta shape over this, calm down, people are always skeptical. Besides you have newbie status, it's not like you have been on this board for awhile. We have seen many people come here and post just trying to sell a product.

I will run you, you come here to Boston and we will do it.

I still don't think Injen is worth extra money over FrankenCar intake.

Steve dynoed his car with intake and he got 10hp or something. So either way they are very close to eachother in performance.

Trash talkers, I think not! What is this intake doing for the engine that no other intake is doing already? I swear people don't know anything about airflow. Who can prove that underhood temps stay hot while the car is moving? I have a temp guage that proves it doesn't so the hybrids will suck cold air too (when moving).

how much better is a frankencar than a berk (I don't have a midpipe)?

Shut it Addae, the Injen does make a good difference and I think it is worth the extra $$$$. I have it and it looks and performs great. Frankencar is good as well, I have the Injen and I can speak for its performance gains. Besides Addae your car is running on 3 cylinders

THIS WHOLE POST IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE. I REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THE INTAKE AND YOU ARE LUCKY I DON'T LIVE IN BOSTON. UNLESS YOU HAVE RUN BOTH INTAKES (WHICH A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE, MYSELF BEING 1) YOU DON'T HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON. STICK TO YOU BAKED BEANS AND CHOWDER.

Jesus H, all intakes whether it be a POP, POP/hybrid, or CAI will perform nearly identical. We're talking within 2-3hp which is nearly impossible to measure on the dyno. Personally, I think the hybrids will do the best overall when it comes to the 1/4 mile simply because of the lack of piping reducing air velocity in the upper rpms. Get what intake you want, BUT don't come in here and act like any intake is significantly better than any other. Once you remove the factory airbox, most of the restriction is removed. The next big restriction in the air path is the intake manifold.

The 4th gen chart shows 7hp at 5k RPM? That seems kinda high. Whatever. All intakes are pretty much the same like Dave B said.
