1990 Sunroof won't close completely

1990 Sunroof won't close completely
The glass on my sunroof stops [ as it should ] for the "hands-safe" stop, then resumes upon the second push of the close button but fails to complete the last 1.5".
I could not see any broken/aksew parts in the track.
Any ideas?

How your sunroof is "fingers-safe".
No but seriously, the track is offline in the motor probably. (by an inch and a half) search for sunroof help, iv found all kinds of stuff for my mind-of-its-own sunroof.
