K&N or Jim wolf intake?
K&N or Jim wolf intake?
I bought a K&N intake+adapter a week and a half ago, and today, a canceled order came in the main. The K&N cost $50, the jim wolf $130. Is there any difference between the two? Which one would you rather have at each price? Do you think I should return it and loose $40 to a "25% restocking fee"(+shipping), keep it for god knows why, or try and sell it? I only have 14 days to decide..
Re: K&N or Jim wolf intake?
Is the JW a CAI, or just a "filtercharger"? If it isn't, keep the K&N otherwise keep the Jim Wolf. Anyway, whats the adapter? I was decieved and thought i was getting something fantastic when i got a K&N filtercharger.
Re: Re: K&N or Jim wolf intake?
The adapter is just this little metal thing that lets you just screw the filter in where the holes used to be(doesn't fit with just the filter). Nothing special, but it's $10 extra over just the filter.
Re: Re: Re: K&N or Jim wolf intake?
Is there a part number on the filter kit from K&N? They make a lot of universal cones, and I'm wondering which one it is that fits in the space of our maximas. I can buy them wholesale, but don't know which to get. If you can tell me which it is, I may be able to get a group deal or something on them.
Or, anyone that has these, if you give me the dimensions, I'll see what I can find. I've got some other vendors I can look into too if anyone is interested.
