rpms act weird

Dont know if this is something I did to my car, but I recently changed my fuel filter and cleaned the throttle body, and now whenever I am driving my car is acting funny...

Whenever I push in the clutch it takes a long time for the rpms to back down to 800ish, they sort of fall real slow and hang out around 1200 before they finally fall.

It seems like a vacuum problem or something?

I dunno, or is it maybe some part... no ECU codes.. yet.

ANy ideas

I think the same thing happened when I cleaned out my throttle body. It has been a while and seems to be back to normal. Someone posted that the car will adjust after driving for a few weeks. Don't worry too much, it's probably nothing.

Since you've cleaned the TB and it's working better, sounds like your base idle might be too high now and the ECU takes longer to knock it down. You can check it and adjust if necessary by using this procedure: http://home.earthlink.net/~max_faq/maintenance.htm#idle The idle spec is at 650 rpm, but I set mine to 750.
