If you want to hook it up to the amp, you'd probably want to splice the input from one of the bose amps. I'm not sure if there's any RCA hookups in the back but since its OEM, probably not.

I bought an adapter at a car audio shop. It connects right into your rear speaker. You just need to drop the amp down off the speaker and connect it to the wires. I think I paid $20-25?? Buying a new head unit could cause more issues for you due to each speaker being self amplified....just a thought

Buying a aftermarket radio would be better. first you will have better pre-amp voltge, whch will better your chance of having engine noise. Plus u will put out more effiecient power to the speakers, and effiecient pre-amp to your amplifier.the bose amps will still work with the aftermaket radio. if you use a line level converter you tap into the rear speaker wires. I do not suggest this with those with the bose setups.
