This FSTB good enough?

Looks okay to me but be warned, it says that no instructions will be provided and that drilling may be required. It looks decent enough - aside from aesthetics, I think a FSTB is a FSTB is a FSTB. There's my pocket change.

search for i30...i think i saw one for ~17-18 from directcarparts..what i have. it's completely bolt-on unless you have a '99, in which case you'll have to saw off that little nipple or wahtever they talk about

hey, i just bought each, the RaceSonic came all screwed up, with blemishes on it, and stuff like that..

i just bought a Direct Car Parts one for $17, .. i'll let you know how it is when it comes.. but they all look the same..

how come some people pay like 125 for a stillen fstb?
when you can get one for dirt cheap on Ebay

Quality issue...
Keep in mind that FSTB takes a lot of load and stress (if you corner hard). And every one knows that when metal bends and stresses, it fatiques. It only takes so much for the metal to lose its stregth and elasticity, even though nothing might "look" wrong on the FSTB.

If you FSTB breaks, then I would think you'll have a serious problem with the integrity of your car to worry about first.

have you seen the pics from clee's accident last year? he hit a pole going pretty damn fast and it mashed in the entire engine bay. hiw courtesy FSTB was bent upwards, but otherwise fine.
