G-Force ECU and MEVI programming

I will hopefully be receiving my MEVI within the next few weeks and was considering an ECU. I know everybody wants to extend the fuel cut to 7000 w/ the JWT. My car has many miles on it and I don't think I want to burden the engine by rotating it consistently faster now that it's older. All right I'll get to my main question, if I get the Gtech ECU (maximadriver has a killer deal on them at the moment) will they know how to program it to effectively worth the added air of the VI once it kicks in? I think they lean the mixture out a bit in the top end so if I have more air wont it be even leaner? I don't know much about air/fuel ratios so any response will probably help. I will ask Cheston or his contacts this question but wanted to know if anyone else had given it any thought.

They don't lean it out enough for it to be dangerous, even on a car with MEVI. BTW you mean G-Force not Gtech.

would there be any gains with the g-force and vi? if so, what are the gains of the g-force itself when installed on a car with vi?

Probably a little. The ECU does most of its magic in the mid RPM whereas the VI does all of its magic above 5000, so one won't have much of an effect on the other, neither would "help" the other much, per se.

Well. the MEVI, really isnt that much of a change as far as air goes. its doesnt switch to a shorter intake runner or anything. just opens up a butterfly switch to a chamber of air that the car can use at higher rpms..
the ecu just tunes fuel to air. the overall fuel to air wont matter as much if you add the MEVI cuz its not that much more air anyway. its just changing the resonance of the air thru the intake runners.

i mean. if you had a stock air box and then switched to a popcharger, the ecu learns that and adjusts. same deal with the MEVI.

no worries.
if you want, they can rich it out more on the top end, but that defeats the point with the ECU repogramming..

besides... Gforce wont lean it out so much that 1 degree of temperature will affect pinging if there happens to be too much 'air'
