well depends on what catback you get..... if it's bolt on, then no welding.... it's pretty easy 2 install...

BUT BEFORE U DO ANYTHING GET JACK STANDS. it's just not safe to use a jack and get UNDER ur car.

Assuming it is say a greddy or stillen catback, then it's very simple, just use the how 2's on this site on the main page. The hardest bolts are the ones at the rear of the cat. You may want to get a torch, or at least get a shop to break them loose for you.

For more info, search

Don't even THINK about getting under a car without jackstands! We don't want to be reading your obit about how you got crushed under a car.

Face it - Your'e gonna be wrenching on cars for years to come, so spring for the jackstands.

And once you jack up the car and position the stands, lower the car, and if space permits - leave the jack(s) in place too. Just snug them up a bit so they don't lift the car from the stands, but just "add" to the effort of holding up the car.

You can never be too careful...

Especially when you get to torqueing on those rust-frozen exhaust bolts.
