hard to change headlight harness?
I think my passenger side headlight harness is burnt. On the side, it looked like it's slightly melted. For whatever reason, it still work sometimes, but then other times it would go out. How hard is it to change the harness? And I guess I have to get the new one from the dealer? How much I'm expecting to pay for it?

So places like PepBoys or Autozone should have it? Is there a specific one that I have to get?

You can get them at Pep boys. It's blue in color last time I saw them. 3 wires to hook up. (1) +12V for low beam, (1) +12V for high beam and (1) for ground. Use a multimeter or a test light to figure out which wire is which. Dealer will try to sell you the whole engine wiring harness which is like $500.
I actually picked up one of those connectors from Autozone two weeks ago.
After I installed it I noticed that the passenger side with the new connector wasn't as bright as the driver side.
If you're gonna get new connectors, change them both or your headlights will look weird. Just cut the old connector off and sit it next to the new connector. Then match up the color wire coming out of the old connector with the wires from the new one.
Oh, and Posi-lock wire connectors are awesome. Clip, strip, insert, twist both ends down and you're all set. No tape, no mess.
I decided to go with swapping out both my connectors for new Nissan ones. They're just better quality wise I think.
I got them from Jerry Rome Nissan for $13 each. Do a search for their number. great service. Just ask for the headlight connectors. They get asked for them all the time with people using the new high output bulbs.
